I have a lot of experience of speaking to a crowd, facilitating discussions and running workshops, but until now I’ve never been called upon to host a panel. So the timing and focus of Stacey’s moderator masterclass was perfect for me.
She talked me through exactly what I can do to prepare, the different things I need to think about on the day, and all the ways I can get the very best out of the panel once it’s underway – putting everyone at ease, making the conversation flow, and ensuring each panel member contributes to the full.
Stacey has set me up to do a brilliant job, and I’m now positively looking forward to it.
Working with Stacey is very easy. She is quick to get up to speed on our tone of voice, types of projects we do and with her many years in the built environment, she understands the wider market context of where our work fits.
We work in a few different ways, sometimes I send Stacey random content links and ideas around a theme and she will sift through these to suggest the ones ‘with legs’. On other pieces, we start with my draft and go back and forth until we nail it. The flexibility around how we work and when Stacey is available works well for our business.
Together we have restructured case studies, developed new ones, edited online content and developed thought pieces on topics we agree together. Stacey can also advise on speaking opportunities and taking part in panel discussions.
I have found Stacey’s background as a journalist to be invaluable in pulling out the hooks ie. what’s interesting or important to readers, and reducing the length of content, focusing on what matters.
The results of our work together have been the freeing up of time for me in writing, quicker content creation and increased engagement, which has facilitated offline conversations and led to new opportunities.
The moderating masterclass webinar came just at the right time, as I’m currently preparing for three sessions. It was super useful. Stacey provided some top tips and great advice and shared her own experiences.
There was plenty of time to ask questions throughout the session rather than waiting until the end. I would recommend this webinar to anyone who is thinking of moderating through to experienced moderators, as there is something for everyone in this course.
It was great to have you join us again for our second event (where has the last year gone?!), and like last time you did a superb job of steering the conversation and keeping the conversation flowing.
We hired Stacey to do a LinkedIn training session for our team to get the latest tips and advice on how to go about posting, commenting, and using the channel in the most appropriate way.
The course was really thorough and even those most experience learned a lot. We covered pitfalls best practice, looked at recent examples, and it was a shot in the arm we all needed.
We had great feedback too from those who attended. Would certainly recommend.
Stacey delivered an excellent course in media training for our team. Drawing on her experience as a journalist and knowledge of the industry she was able to give us a real insight into the inner workings of the media and delivered practical, valuable skills that we’ll be able to use again and again.

Despite being an experienced journalist and PR consultant, I felt I would benefit from a second opinion on a news story I was working on.
I knew Stacey had worked as a journalist in the property sector for many years and was highly respected, so I turned to her for advice on how I might be able to improve my news release and gain greater coverage in the media.
Her professional input was invaluable and I took on board the improvements she suggested. Needless to say, the news story was featured in several key property titles. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stacey – she really knows her stuff!
